The present writ petition has been filed seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order dated 6th May, 2026 passed by this Court in W.P. (C) 6172/2026. 2.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-MCD has handed over a communication dated 14th May, 2026, addressed to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dwarka District, seeking adequate Police force for the purposes of carrying out demolition action today, i.e. on 15th May, 2026. Photographs have also been handed over in Court, showing the demolition action being carried out today.

2.1 The said photographs are taken on record.

The concerned Assistant Engineer of MCD is also present in Court and confirms that demolition action is being carried out today. 4.
