The instant petition is for the following reliefs:- "a. Direct the Respondent No. 2 to provide complete information, as directed by the Commission.

b. Direct the Commission to impose appropriate penalty u/s 20 of the Act against Respondent No. 2 for malafidely withholding information. c. Direct the Commission to take action against Respondent No. 2 for deliberate non-compliance of order dated 28.02.2025. d. Pass any such further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court deems fit, in the interest of justice."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the information sought by the petitioner, pursuant to the RTI applications, has not been provided by respondent no.2 i.e. Central Public Information Officer ('CPIO') despite necessary orders having been passed by the Central Information Commission ('CIC'). According to him, the CIC vide its order dated 22.08.2025 has directed for full disclosure of information and has issued a Show Cause Notice under Section 20 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 ('RTI Act') but the CPIO has failed to comply with the same. 3.

The petitioner, thereafter, has made non-compliance complaints dated 28.10.2025 and 10.11.2025 before the CIC. According to him, the said complaints are still pending for consideration. 4.

Having considered the overall facts and circumstances, it is apposite to direct the CIC to deal with the pending complaints of the petitioner with due expedition not beyond a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of the order passed today.

With these observations, the instant petition stands disposed of.
