% 29.03.2016 It is not in dispute that petitioner has filed an application under Section 28 of the Delhi Land Revenue Act, 1954 ("the Act", for short) for settlement of boundary dispute and compliance of the demarcation report dated 18th January, 2011. Petitioner has also prayed in the said application that petitioner's area of Khasra No. 451, as per demarcation report, be also completed. Said application has been filed before the Deputy Commissioner (North West District), Delhi. Said application is stated to be still pending; though, 41⁄2 years have gone by since then. This writ petition is disposed of with the directions to Deputy Commissioner (North West District), Delhi to

dispose of application of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within three months.

Learned counsels for the parties assure that no unnecessary adjournments would be prayed before the Deputy Commissioner (North West District).

Till application under Section 28 of the Act is disposed of by the Deputy Commissioner (North West District) parties shall maintain the status quo regarding possession.

Copy of the order be given dasti to counsels for the parties.
