Heard the learned Counsel for the Parties.

Having heard the learned Counsel for the Parties and without reflecting on the maintainability of the instant intra court Appeal, the Appeal is disposed of in the following terms: i.
The learned Counsel for National Council for Teacher Education ("NCTE") shall file its Counter Affidavit to the writ petition being W.P.(C) 6176/2026 ("Writ Petition") by 18.05.2026 after serving a copy thereof upon the learned Counsel for the Appellant. No further time shall be made available to the NCTE to file its Counter Affidavit and in case the Counter Affidavit is not filed by 18.05.2026, it will not The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. be an impediment for the learned Single Judge to proceed further with the Writ Petition itself.

The Rejoinder Affidavit, if any, be filed by the Appellant by 19.05.2026.

The Registry is directed to list the Writ Petition before the learned Single Judge on 19.05.2026 after cancelling the date fixed earlier. 3.
We have preponed the date appearing in the Writ Petition after considering the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in its judgment dated 13.12.2012 passed in Maa Vaishno Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya v. State of U.P., (2013) 2 SCC 617. 4.
In the proceedings of the Writ Petition before the learned Single Judge, the Parties shall not be permitted to take any adjournments. 5.
We request the learned Single Judge to consider the Writ Petition and decide the same as early as possible, taking into account the time schedule as provided for by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Maa Vaishno Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya (supra).
