This application has been filed on behalf of the plaintiff seeking a direction from the Court that the court fees ordered to be refunded vide order dated 21st February, 2024, be refunded in the name of the plaintiff's law firm rather than the plaintiff.

Pursuant to the order of refund of court fees, the counsel for the plaintiff obtained a certificate for refund of the court fees. 2.1 However, the court fees could not be remitted to the plaintiff as the plaintiff is a foreign entity and did not have a bank account in India. 3.
Accordingly, the present application is made. 4.
Having heard the counsel for the plaintiff, in the facts and circumstances of the present case, the court fees may be refunded in favour of the plaintiff's counsel, who undertakes to remit the court fees to the plaintiff.
