1. The hearing was conducted through video conferencing.

2. Issue notice.

3. Learned counsel named above accepts notice on behalf of respondent no. 1.

4. The case was passed over for the learned counsel for the R-1 to obtain instructions. Having done so, Mr. Amit Bansal, learned counsel for the Board, states that considering the extraordinary circumstances of the petitioner, which constrained her from taking the Board Examination for English Core subject, her case has been reviewed; and in terms of the Board's letter dated 22.06.2020, her marks shall be recomputed within the next 2 days and a fresh marksheet will be issued to her. The Marksheet will indicate the marks of 4th subject i.e. English Core, in terms of clause 7(c) of the Notification dated 25.06.2020. The relevant portion reads, inter alia, as under: " 7... (c) For students who have appeared in the examinations in only three subjects the average of the

marks obtained in the best two performing subjects will be awarded in the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted."

5. The highest marks obtained by the petitioner in two subjects, Psychology and Economics, are 81 and 76 respectively. In effect, she would be awarded the average of the two i.e. 78.5 in English Core.

6. The aforementioned fresh marksheet will be issued to her latest by 18.08.2020.

7. The petition, along with the pending application, is disposed-off in the above terms.
