CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R.K.GAUBA

O R D E R

% 04.04.2016 CM No.12154/2016 The appeal (MACA.No.158/2011) against the award passed by the motor accident claims tribunal by judgment dated 24.11.2010, as preferred by the insurance company, inter alia, questioning the computation of compensation was withdrawn and dismissed accordingly by order dated 19.08.2015. In terms of directions in the order dated 21.02.2011 in the said appeal, the entire awarded amount with up-to-date interest was deposited by the insurer with the Registrar General of this Court and 25% of the said amount was allowed to be released to Seema (one of claimants) by order dated 25.11.2011, the balance stated to be lying in deposit. Though the cross-appeal (MAC.APP.No.533/2011) of the claimants for enhancement is still pending, there is no reason why the balance amount kept in deposit

should be retained.

The Registrar General shall take appropriate steps to release the same to the claimants.
