% 14.08.2020 The present matter has been taken up for hearing by way of Video Conferencing on account of COVID-19 pandemic. CM APPL.19066/2020 (Exemption) 1.

The present application under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 has been filed on behalf of the applicants/petitioners seeking exemption from filing duly attested affidavits in support of the accompanying petition and to pay the requisite court fees. CONT.CAS(C) 416/2020

For the reasons stated in the application and in view of the present prevailing situation, the same is allowed. The applicants/petitioners are allowed to file the duly signed and attested affidavits within a period of one week from the date of resumption of regular functioning of the Court. Further, the applicants/petitioners are allowed to file the requisite court fee within a period of one week from today.

With the above directions, the present application is disposed of. CONT.CAS(C) 416/2020 1.

Mr. Sanjay Jain, learned Additional Solicitor General, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw this contempt petition, with liberty to file a fresh contempt petition, if so advised, on the ground of the subsequent developments, that have taken place, since the original filing of the present contempt petition.

Leave and liberty granted.

The contempt petition is dismissed as withdrawn and disposed of accordingly.
