The present proceedings are instituted under Section 482 Cr.P.C. on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No. 899/2018 registered under Section 363 IPC at P.S. Aman Vihar, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.

The allegations in the present FIR pertain to the offence of kidnapping.

Mr. Jha, learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is the only accused person and respondent Nos.2 and 3 are the complainants/victims in the present case.

Petitioner, who is present in Court, has been identified by his counsel as well as the I.O./SI Ankush, P.S. Aman Vihar. 6.

Respondent No. 2/complainant, who is present in Court and has been identified by I.O., states that though a missing report was lodged by him, however, subsequently, confirms that his daughter i.e. respondent No.3 and petitioner have solemnized their marriage which is accepted by him and other family members. Respondent No.3, who is also present in Court and has been identified by the I.O., states that she is aged about 20 years of age. She further states that she is wife of petitioner and their marriage was solemnized on 12.08.2022, which was registered before the SDM, South West, Dwarka, Delhi on 06.09.2022. Both respondent Nos. 2 and 3 state that they have no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and considering that no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed. 9.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of alongwith miscellaneous application.
