The present Writ Petition is directed against the Order/Judgment dated 07.04.2025 passed by Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal ["DRAT'] dismissing the Misc. Appeal No. 69/2025, Misc. Appeal No. 55/2025 and I.A. No.175/2025 and thereby, refusing to extend the time to deposit the costs imposed as a pre-condition of the Written Statement to be taken on record. 2.
In the interest of justice, this Court gave an offer to the Petitioner to pay the costs of Rs.2,00,000/- and the Written Statement shall be taken on record as directed in the Order dated 30.01.2025 passed by DRAT.

Notice was issued to the Respondent herein on 22.04.2025. 4.
Learned counsel for the Respondent enters appearance and opposes the petition stating that this has been an attempt to linger on The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the adjudication and since the matter is based on documents and all documents being on record, no useful purpose would be served in permitting the said Order.

In the interest of justice, this Court is inclined to direct that subject to the payment of Rs. 2,00,000/- as costs to the Respondent, the Written Statement be taken on record.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner has brought two demand drafts bearing nos. 041664 & 0141665, drawn on J & K Bank, both dated 28.04.2025 of Rs. 1,00,000/- each, drawn in the name of the Respondent.

Mr. Shivam, Advocate appearing in the Court, undertakes to ensure that drafts are handed over to the Respondent. 8.
The impugned Order is set aside. The DRT is directed to proceed in accordance with law and made an endeavour to dispose of the case expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from today.

The Writ Petition along with pending application(s), if any, stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
