CONT.CAS(C) 595/2025 1.

This petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of order dated 3rd November 2023 passed by the Family Court in H.M.A 1749/2019. The principal issue relates to the arrears of maintenance which was granted at Rs.75,000/- per month in favour of the petitioner/wife. 2.

It is informed by counsels for parties that an order dated 8th April 2025 has been passed by the Family Court, basis an application seeking modification of order dated 3rd November 2023 and other applications seeking attendant relief.

Directions have been passed by the Family Court, as per which Rs.9 Lacs have to be deposited towards twelve months' maintenance in form of an FDR.

Counsel for respondent states that the same has been deposited. 5.

The remaining balance arrears of maintenance till March 2025 have been directed to be transferred to the account of petitioner in three equal monthly instalments and respondent has been directed to continuously pay a monthly maintenance from the month of April 2025, as per order dated 3rd November 2023.

Considering these directions and the submission of counsel for respondent that the order dated 8th April 2025, shall be duly complied with. 7.

The petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to agitate it in case the order dated 8th April 2025 is not complied with. 8.
