After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case directions are issued for expeditious disposal of the trial, he shall not press this petition at this stage.

In view of the above and keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the recording of the prosecution witnesses and endeavour to conclude the same within a period of six months from the next date of hearing before the Trial Court.

In view of the above directions, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid directions.
