The petitioner seeks quashing of case FIR No. 454/2024 of Police Station Mangol Puri for offence under Section 167/466/471/34 IPC. 2.

Basic contention of the petitioner is that since all accused persons in the rape case stand acquitted, there is no reason to start the trial of the present petitioner, who is a medical doctor. Learned APP, on instructions of IO/Inspector Hitender Kumar, submits that chargesheet is ready to be filed. 3.

But allegation against the petitioner/doctor is not involvement in the rape offence, the allegation against him is that he misused his power and post to issue bogus emergency/casualty registration card/slip to one of the accused persons, which helped him get bail from the court. 4.

After addressing partly, learned counsel for petitioner, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw this petition.
