% 04.11.2024 Present petition has been filed with the following prayer: 'It is therefore most respectfully prayed that the present Writ Petition Under Article 227 of Constitution Of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. On behalf of petitioner Rohit @ Moi to invoke the writ of mandamus to provide adequate high risk security and ensure the safety and security of the petitioner in judicial custody and while taking him to courts be allowed;'
Learned Additional Standing counsel, at the outset, has stated that as per standing order No.52/2021, one Inspector, One sub-Inspector/Assistant Sub-Inspector, one Head Constable, three constables, four commandos and one Escort vehicle are provided to the under-trial prisoners having High Risk Guard facility. Learned additional standing counsel submits that as far as the cases in Delhi are concerned, the petitioner may appear through video conferencing after obtaining permission from the learned trial court.
