This application has been filed on behalf of the appellant to seek restoration of the appeal which was dismissed for non-prosecution on 26.04.2024.

For the reasons stated in the application, the prayer made therein is allowed.

The appeal is, accordingly, restored to its original number. MAT.APP.(F.C.) 140/2024 4.

This appeal is directed against the order dated 12.01.2024 passed by the learned Principal Judge, Family Courts, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi.

recission /setting aside of the order of maintenance passed by it via order dated 31.05.2023.

5.1 Via order dated 31.05.2023, the Family Court has, inter alia, directed the appellant/husband to pay Rs.2,000/- to the respondent/wife on each date when she was called upon to attend the hearing. 6.

We are of the view that there is no good reason for us to interfere with the impugned order.

The appeal is, accordingly, dismissed.
