The Petition under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for extending of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator, which has expired on 30.04.2024 by a reasonable period beyond 30.04.2024 for completion of final arguments and pronouncing the Award.

Learned counsel for the respondent has no objection if the extension is granted. It is further submits that the final arguments have already been concluded.

In view of the submissions made, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by four months from the date it has expired, as has been requested by the parties..
