This is a petition under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time of 1 year from today for concluding the arbitral proceedings.

It is stated that the two former Arbitrators recused themselves for their personal reasons.
3.
The substitute Arbitrator was appointed on 24.01.2024 and on 06.04.2024, the learned Arbitrator directed the parties to approach the Court for extension of time.

Ms Wadhwa, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and states that she has no objection to the petition being allowed. 6.

For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and a period of 1 year is granted to the learned Arbitrator for concluding the proceedings and passing of an Award.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
