This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking direction to the Respondents to release Petitioner's due towards commutation of pension amount. 2.

Ms. Laavanya Kaushik, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Respondent No.2 has handed over the calculation sheet reflecting the final payment of Rs.18,63,916/- made to the Petitioner towards commutation of pension. Copy of the calculation sheet has been handed over to the counsel for the Petitioner, who on instructions, confirms that the due amount has been paid and no amount is outstanding. Calculation sheet is taken on record.

Writ petition is disposed of directing the Respondents to make payment of interest @ 6% per annum to the Petitioner from the date the amount towards commutation of pension was due to her till the date of actual payment.
