further 8 weeks time to comply with this Court's order dated 26.04.2024.
3. The request for extension of time is vehemently opposed by the learned counsel for the petitioner who submits that the training for the newly recruited Constables/DPCOs 2022 has already commenced and any further delay in consideration of the petitioner's case is likely to cause grave and irreparable prejudice to the petitioner.
4. Having considered the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, we dispose of the application by granting the respondents 4 weeks time, by way of a last opportunity, for consideration of the petitioner's case by the Standing Screening Committee in terms of this Court's order dated 26.04.2024.
5. It is made clear that in case the respondents do not comply with this direction, the Court will consider to permit the petitioner for joining the training provisionally.
