The Petitioner has approached this Court primarily aggrieved by an Order dated 15.04.2024 passed by the Child Welfare Committee directing to shift few children housed at Ummeed Aman Ghar to CHB, Lajpat Nagar on the ground that the children are studying in a nearby school and they should The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. not be removed from the schools where they are studying as it will have a deleterious effect on their education.

This Court is not inclined to interfere with the decision taken by the Child Welfare Committee inasmuch as the children would be put in schools so that their education is not affected. The Child Welfare Committee is prepared to take responsibility for their education and their welfare. 3.
Without making any observation on the merits of the case, lest it will have an effect on adjudication of W.P.(C) 4288/2021 and W.P.(C) 4236/2021, the writ petition is being disposed of directing the children to be shifted to CHB, Lajpat Nagar.

It has been stated by learned Counsel for the Petitioner that sometimes the parents are not allowed to meet the children, a fact which has been refuted by Ms. Satya Prabha, Chairperson, Child Welfare Committee who is present in Court.

If in case of any difficulty, it is always open for the Petitioner to approach this Court.

A perusal of Order dated 13.05.2024, shows that W.P.(C) 4236/2021 and W.P.(C) 4288/2021 have been mentioned as W.P.(C) 4236/2024 and W.P.(C) 4288/2024. The same stands corrected accordingly. Let the same be read as W.P.(C) 4236/2021 and W.P.(C) 4288/2021. 7.
