This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "(a) Pass an appropriate order, direction or writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ directing the Respondents to consequently update its website by displaying the recognized status of Petitioner institution for D.P.Ed course; and/or (b) Pass an appropriate order, direction or writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ directing the Respondents to inform the Department of Higher Education, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Government of Karnataka communicating status of petitioner institution as recognized institution for conducting D.P.Ed course; and/or.."

For the said reason, issue notice.

Mr. Rupal, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and on instructions, states that the respondents have no objection to the present petition being allowed, subject to verification by the respondents.

This order is being passed in view of a similar order dated 22.12.2025 passed in W.P.(C) 19386/2025, covering the present issue. Based on the said order and using the same reasons and expressions, this order is being passed.

Ms. Jhunjhunwala, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the recognition for conducting D.P.Ed (erstwhile C.P.Ed) course was granted vide orders dated 21.08.2000, recognition was granted by the Southern Regional Committee. However, the respondents are not displaying the name of the College in the list of recognized institutions on their official website. Thus, the petitioners have approached this Court seeking to direct the respondents to update the status of the petitioner institute and display its name in the list of recognized institutions for the said course on their official website. He further points out that in the past, several orders have been passed by this Court issuing similar direction, copies of which have been filed along with the writ petition.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to verify the status of the petitioner institute and if upon The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

verification the same is found to be a recognized institute, the respondents shall update the status on the website in the list of recognized institutions within 4 weeks. Thereafter, communication to this effect shall be sent to the affiliating body as well as Department of Higher Education, Government of Karnataka, within a period of two weeks from the date the status is uploaded.
