This petition has been filed seeking directions to the Trial Court to conclude the trial in Case No.359/2018 arising out of an FIR No.165/2017 PS Hazrat Nizamuddin. Status report has been filed. Charge-sheet has been filed on 16th January, 2018 against 6 accused. The case is at the stage of arguments on charge.

Besides the status report also states that there are 7 FIRs registered against the husband of the petitioner, out of which 5 FIRs are registered in Delhi and 2 FIRs are registered in Uttar Pradesh. He has been declared a Bad Character of PS Hazrat Nizamuddin. On 13th June, 2024 vide DD No.83A under Sections 107/150 Cr.P.C., action was taken against the husband of the petitioner Mr. Tufail Khan and his family members to avoid breach of peace in that area. 4.

It is stated by the State that both parties are habitual PCR callers without any specific reasons and keep making complaints against each other. 5.

Needless to state, proceedings before the Trial Court should not be dilated or delayed, basis any unnecessary and unmerited request by the parties.
