By way of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioners seek following prayers:- "It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble court may be pleased to pass an order/writ of mandamus or of any other nature thereby directing the concerned police to provide adequate security to the petitioners." 2.
Learned counsels for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have married each other on 12.04.2024 and that they had duly informed their family about the same. It is further stated that the family members of petitioner No.1 badly treated the petitioner and also beat them. 3.
Learned ASC for the State, on instructions, submits that respondent Nos.4 to 6 have been duly informed by the concerned Investigating Officer about the pendency of the present petition as well as the date of hearing, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. however, there is no appearance on behalf of respondent Nos.4 to 6. 4.
Considering the prayer made in the petition, the same is allowed and respondent Nos. 4 to 6 are restrained from interfering in the married life of the petitioners. Further, the concerned SHO shall ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners and shall also provide his/her mobile number as well as the mobile number of the beat officer to the petitioners. He shall also ensure that the beat officer regularly patrols the area and interacts with the petitioners on regular basis.
