Mr. Sanjay Lao, learned ASC for the State submits that the petitioners' husband, two sons and a son-in-law are accused in case FIR No.250/2020 dated 26.05.2020 registered under sections 304/323/34 IPC registered at P.S.: Jahangir Puri, Delhi, to which the offence under section 302 IPC has also subsequently been added. The learned ASC submits that while the husband and one son are already in custody, the petitioner's other son and son-in-law are evading arrest. It is stated that it is in this context that the petitioner has left her residence, claiming to have been harassed out of her home. 3.
Mr. Lao further submits that proceedings under section 82 Cr.P.C. are underway against both the absconding accused. It is further stated that the present petition has been filed to create unnecessary pressure on the police and to shield the accused persons. W. P. (Crl.) 1248/2020 Page of

Mr. B.S. Chowdhary, learned counsel for the petitioner, on the other hand, disputes the submissions and says that the petitioner has been forced to leave her home along with her daughters of marriageable age since there was constant harassment inter-alia from the police. Counsel submits that adequate assurance be provided by the local police that she will not be so harassed, if she returns home. 5.
In view of the above, and with the consent of learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction that the petitioner will be furnished the cell phone number of S.H.O., P.S.: Jahangir Puri and also of the concerned beat constable, on which she may call them in any eventuality.

The petition stands disposed of.
