The instant petition is for the following reliefs: "a. Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing Respondent No. 1 to constitute or facilitate constitution of an independent Medical committee to conduct investigation or a Special Investigation Team (SIT), to conduct an independent, impartial, and time-bound investigation under the supervision of this Hon'ble Court, to ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability into the circumstances leading to the death of Late Mr. Saurav Sharma, including the role of the Respondent Hospitals and their treating doctors, and to take appropriate steps in accordance with law; b. Direct the constitution of an independent Medical Committee/Expert Committee, preferably comprising specialists from premier government medical institutions, to examine the entire course of treatment, assess The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. adherence to established medical protocols, determine the existence of medical negligence and causal nexus with death, and submit a comprehensive report;

c. Direct Respondent No. 1 to ensure preservation and production of all original medical records, including electronic data, ICU charts, diagnostic reports, and treatment logs, and restrain them from tampering with or altering any such records, OF G OF 46 PORT d. Direct Respondent No 1 to take appropriate steps through the competent statutory and regulatory authorities, including the National Medical Commission and Delhi Medical Council, to intiate disciplinary proceedings agamst the doctors involved and take appropriate action, including suspension or cancellation of licences, if warranted. e. Pass such other and further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."

The petitioner's grievance seems to be of alleged post-procedural medical mismanagement, failure of critical care protocol by the respondents - hospitals. The petitioner, thus, contends that the systemic lapses on the part of the Respondents - Hospitals, which ultimately resulted in the death of the petitioner's son on 16.09.2024.

The petitioner raises various grievances including the non-supply of the necessary documents by the concerned hospitals. The petitioner, however, has not approached the police authority/any other statutory authority.

If the petitioner does so, let the grievance of the petitioner be appropriately looked into in accordance with law. 7.

Leaving all rights and contentions of the parties open, the instant petition stands disposed of.
