Crl.M.A. 42543/2019 Vide the present application, the applicant seeks direction to release the surety bonds of Ms.Shama Gupta and original FDR bearing receipt No. AB/COM/SNSP/AB 012246 dated 23.02.2017.

It is made clear to all concerned that if either FIR and emanating proceedings thereto have been quashed or accused has been acquitted, the surety bond stands automatically discharged. There should not be any confusion to the concerned Magistrate or the Registrar General of this Court that specific order for that purpose is required. Accordingly, Registrar General is directed to return the surety bond in the present case.

The application is allowed and disposed of.
