Present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner-son in his capacity as legal heir of the deceased assessee seeking a direction to the respondents to pay the refund amount in accordance with the intimation dated 17th October, 2017 under Section 143 (1) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Today, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has received the aforesaid refund.
