W.P.(CRL) 1254/2020 6.

This writ petition is filed for quashing of the FIR No.406/2018 under Section 420/406/34 IPC registered at police station Vasant Kunj South, New Delhi on the complaint of respondent No.2 against the petitioners. 7.

It is stated the matter has been amicably settled between the parties vide a settlement agreement dated 25.05.2020 and the due amount have since been paid by the petitioners to the respondent No.2 per agreement SHARMA

dated 25.05.2020.

The respondent no.2 is also present before this Court and he also submits of execution of the settlement agreement between them and he does not want any further investigation in this FIR and as such he is inclined to withdraw the complaint.

An undated letter written by respondent no.2 to the SHO, Vasant Kunj (South) also confirms the amount has been received by the respondent no.2 and now he has no claims left against the petitioners herein and as such the respondent no.2 withdraws his complaint. The affidavit of complainant is on record in this regard.

In the circumstances, the petition stands disposed of. The FIR No.460/2018 under Section 420/406/34 IPC at police station Vasant Kunj South, New Delhi along with the proceedings emanating from it stands quashed. No order as to costs.
