After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition. She however draws the attention to order dated 22.05.2018 in Bail Appln.999/2018 filed by the petitioner, wherein, directions were issued to the Trial Court to expedite the recording of the prosecution witnesses and endeavour to conclude the same by 31.12.2018.

Learned APP for the State under instructions from the Investigating Officer submits that the Trial Court is expeditiously recording the prosecution evidence, however, there are 30 witnesses and 10 witnesses have already been examined. She submits that despite best efforts, on account of heavy board, the matter could not be concluded.

Keeping in view the totality of facts and circumstances and also the heavy pendency before the Trial Court, the Trial Court is directed to record the evidence expeditiously and endeavour to conclude the same by 31.12.2019.

In view of the above directions, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition. 5.

Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as not pressed with the aforesaid directions.
