The present petitions have been filed by the petitioner assailing the jurisdiction of the respondent no.1, in respect of certain proceedings under the Employees' Compensation Act, 1923.

Vide order dated 27.04.2026 the concerned Authority ordered as under:-

It transpires that after the aforesaid order was passed, final arguments in the matter have been slated for today i.e. 18.05.2026, before the concerned Authority.

Needless to say, the petitioner shall be at liberty to make appropriate
submissions with regard to the issue of jurisdiction at the time of final arguments before the concerned Authority, which shall necessarily be considered in the final order to be passed by the concerned Authority. 7.
In the circumstances, given the advanced stage of the proceedings before the Authority, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the same at this stage. The parties are requested to cooperate with the concerned Authority for expeditious disposal of the same. 8.
Needless to say, the final order that may be passed (including on the issue of jurisdiction), shall be subject to the rights and remedies of the parties.
