% 24.01.2017 Issue notice. Notice is accepted on behalf of the respondents. The petitioner has preferred this petition to seek a direction to respondent nos.2 to 5 not to call the petitioner to police station without following due process of law and without giving a written notice to him. The petitioner seeks that respondent no.5 i.e. Constable Sher Singh (beat constable), PS Sangam Vihar should stop harassing him.
The status report has been tendered in court signed by the SHO, PS Sangam Vihar, who states that the petitioner is involved in 13 cases and that respondent no.5 being the beat constable of the area had enquired in routine about the petitioner from the neighbours and nearby people.
The allegation of threats being issued to petitioner to falsely implicate him in cases and calling to the police station are denied. The status report also states that the petitioner is presently not involved or wanted in any case. In view of the said status report, it is directed that in case the petitioner is required for any purpose, he should be issued a notice in writing and he should not be unnecessarily harassed by the respondents in any manner.
The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Dasti. VIPIN SANGHI, J JANUARY 24, 2017 sr
