O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent to lift the lock-in period for transfer of TSR auto, so that the owners of TSR auto, can transfer the vehicles without any restriction of 5 years lock-in period.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that an order dated 9th April, 2025, has been issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Autorickshaw and Taxi Unit, wherein, the lock-in period has been reduced from five year to one year. The said order dated 9th April, 2025 has been handed over to this Court, which is taken on record. 03.04.2025 as resolution No.06(a)/2025 the 'Permit Condition' issued vide order no.DC/(ARU)/TPT/2011-12/1149-56 dated 8th August, 2012 stands modified as followsClause 4 The Auto Rickshaw permit would not be transferable for One(o1) year from the date of initial registration of the auto rickshaw, except in case of death of permit holder, as prescribed in Section 82 of MV Act, 1988 and Rules framed there under. Thereafter, the transfer to a person belonging to the same category can be considered. In case of legal heir of the deceased permit holder is minor or does not have a valid driving license & PSV badge he/she can hire a driver having valid Driving License and badge issued by Transport Department, Delhi.

The aforesaid permit conditions for transfer of permits for Autorickshaws shall come into force with immediate effect." 3.

Thus, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner, stands satisfied. 4.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of, having been satisfied.
