The request in the present petition is for expeditious disposal of the divorce petition filed by the petitioner.

It is submitted that said case was fixed for cross-examination of petitioner way back in the year 2015 and fact remains that such cross-examination has yet not been completed. 3.
After hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for petitioner, without prejudice to his rights and contentions, does not press the present petition. He, however, seeks indulgence and permission to file appropriate application before the learned Trial Court seeking expeditious disposal of the petition in question i.e. HMA No. 561700/2016. 4.
The present petition is according disposed of as not pressed while making it clear that in case the petitioner moves any such application before the learned Judge, Family Court, the learned Judge Family shall consider the same as per law.
