This petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following prayers:

"In the facts and circumstances of the case, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to: - (i) Issue a writ of certiorari for quashing unit service orders dated 26/27.04.2017, 30.10.2018, 28/29.06.2019 and 19.05.2020 issued by respondents whereby pay of petitioners has been unilaterally re-fixed after a time gap of about 20 years;

(ii) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to restore the pay of petitioners as was existing prior to issuance of aforesaid impugned orders as also make payment of arrears of pay as would accrue to petitioners on restoration of their pay (iii) Pass any such other orders as it may deem fit to this Hon'ble Court in the facts and circumstances of the case." 2.
