The present proceedings are instituted by the petitioner under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No. 142/15 registered under Sections 341/323/354A/354B/34 IPC at P.S. Sunlight Colony, Delhi on the ground that parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.
As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioner beat and misbehaved with respondent Nos. 2 and 3.

Mr. Sabharwal, learned APP for the State, submits that the petitioner is the only accused persons and respondent Nos. 2 and 3 are the only complainants/victims. It is further submitted that charge-sheet has been filed in the present case under the aforesaid sections. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that parties have amicably settled their disputes vide Compromise Deed dated 30.03.2024. In terms of the settlement, respondent No.2 is now left with no claim or grievance against the petitioners.

The petitioner and respondent Nos.2 and 3, who are present in Court, have been identified by their respective counsel as well as the I.O./SI Atul Prabhakar, P.S. Sunlight Colony.

Petitioner has shown remorse for his conduct and undertake not to repeat the same in future. Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 state that they have entered into the settlement with the petitioners out of their own free will, volition and without any coercion. They further state that they have no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed. 7.
It is informed that cross FIR being FIR No. 143/15 registered under Sections 323/341/354/354A/34 IPC at P.S. Sunlight Colony has also been quashed today vide CRL.M.C.3073/2024.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and considering that no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed, subject to payment of cumulative cost of Rs.10,000/- to be deposited with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (A/c No. 18580110053263, UCO Bank, Branch: Rouse Avenue, IFSC: UCBA0003364) within a period of four weeks from today. The amount so deposited shall be utilized by the DSLSA for providing counselling/psychological support to POCSO victims requiring such assistance.

Proof evidencing receipt of deposit shall be filed with the I.O. If the proof is not deposited within the stipulated period, the I.O. shall be at liberty to move appropriate application.
