% 13.05.2019 Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks directions thereby directing the respondents to make the appointment of Director, National School of Drama as per the result of the selection process. It is stated in the present petition that the post of director of respondent no.1 fell vacant in the month of September, 2018 and thereafter, one Sh. Suresh Sharma is acting as Director In-charge of respondent no.1. Meanwhile, the respondent no.1 invited the applications for the said post and four candidates including the petitioner applied. Panel has been prepared and it is pending for ACC approval.

It is not in dispute that the interviews were conducted on 24.10.2018 and 25.10.2018, however, till date, ACC has not taken the final decision for

the said post.

In view of the facts above, I hereby dispose of the present petition directing the respondent no.2 to pursue with the ACC to get approval. This Court also expect from the ACC to take a decision within two months from the date of receipt of this order. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
