My attention has been drawn to the order of this court dated 18.02.2020 passed in W.P.(C) No.7714/2018. As per the said order, WRC was to look into the representation of the petitioner and complete the exercise at the earliest but not later than eight weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of the order.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states despite lapse of eight weeks WRC has taken no steps.

Learned counsel for the respondent states a delay took place on account of the current pandemic and states that the case of the petitioner will be considered by WRC in its immediate next meeting. 4.

The above statement of the learned counsel for the respondent is taken on record. Respondent will ensure the needful. 5.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner states that counselling By:NIRMLA TIWARI 17:50:06

has begun and the petitioner should be allowed to participate in the counselling. He further states that WRC did hold a meeting at the end of July but the case of the petitioner was not considered. 6.

The respondent has already given an explanation for the delay, namely, the outbreak of the pandemic. Further, the petitioner himself has approached this court at the last minute. It is not possible to pass directions which are being sought.

Nothing further survives in this petition. Writ petition is disposed of. All other pending applications, if any, be also disposed of. JAYANT NATH, J.
