The present petition has been filed by the petitioner being aggrieved with the action on the part of respondent no.1 for not transferring the vehicle bearing registration No. DAI 0007 from the name of her deceased husband to herself.

Learned counsel for respondent no.1, who appears on advance notice submits that the process for transfer of the vehicle in the name of the petitioner is a faceless one and no personal/physical appearance of the petitioner or her attorney is required for the said purpose. He submits that requisite transfer could not be done since the requisite forms viz. Form Nos. 29, 30 and 31, submitted by petitioner were not duly filled up/signed. In view of the aforesaid, prayer-A, as sought in the present petition stands satisfied.

As far as the transfer of the concerned vehicle by the petitioner to another third party is concerned, the petitioner would be at liberty to follow the prescribed process for the said transfer. In case any impediment is faced by the petitioner, it shall be at liberty to take appropriate remedies as may be available under law.
