1. Mr. Zoheb Hossain, learned Senior Standing Counsel, has produced before the Court written instructions dated 28th May 2019 issued to Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Delhi-9 who also is the Chairman of the High Pitched Scrutiny Assessment Committee („HPSA Committee‟).

2. The Petitioner‟s application was received by the HPSA Committee on 11th March 2019 and deliberated upon on 15th March 2019. It is stated that since the report initially received from the Assessing Officer („AO‟) was incomplete a further report was called for which has now been submitted on 28th May 2019. It is stated that the HPSA Committee will now deliberate upon the report and decide the Petitioner‟s application.

3. It is directed that the HPSA Committee will dispose of the Petitioner‟s

application not later than 30th June 2019. If need be, the HSPA Committee can call the Petitioner for any further clarification/documents. The decision of the HPSA Committee be communicated to the Petitioner not later than 10th July 2019.

4. The petition is disposed of in the above terms.
