The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking issuance of a Writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce Ms.Anjali Kumari, the daughter of the petitioner. 2.

Ms.Anjali Kumari has been produced before us. She states that she had gone away on her own free will and volition from the company of the petitioner, but now would like to return back to the company of the petitioner. She states that she was not under any threat or pressure.
