The present Writ Petition has been filed by the Petitioner seeking a writ of Habeas Corpus for a direction to the Respondents to produce her minor daughter who went missing from her home on 19.03.2023. 2.

It is stated by the learned Counsel appearing for the State that on search, the minor daughter of the Petitioner has been found at Sambhal. 3.

On 23.04.2025 we interacted with the Petitioner and her daughter. The daughter of the Petitioner stated that she left her home on her own accord without informing anyone. She further stated that she got married to one Prince Kumar and there is an eight months old child from the marriage. The daughter of the Petitioner is still a minor. Looking at the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case we requested Prince Kumar or his parents to appear in Court on the next date of hearing, i.e. today. 4.

Today, mother of Prince Kumar is present in Court. We have interacted with the Petitioner, the daughter of the Petitioner and the mother of Prince Kumar.

The Petitioner states that she would like to take her daughter and the child with her. The daughter of the Petitioner states that she would like to reside with her mother till she attains the age of majority. The mother of Prince Kumar states that she has no objection to the daughter of the Petitioner and child staying with the Petitioner till the daughter of the Petitioner attains majority.

Since the daughter of the Petitioner has been found, no further orders are required to be passed in the present Writ Petition. 7.

However, it is made clear that on attaining majority the daughter of the Petitioner will be free to go wherever she desires. 8.

With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.
