This petition has been filed by the Petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ('BNSS') seeking following relief: a) Issue appropriate writ or direction against respondent no. 1 to 3 and action against respondents no.4 to 5 for protection of life and liberty as granted under article 21 of the Constitution of India of the petitioners and their children.

b) Pass any order(s) to let petitioners to let petitioners live with dignity as a human being without hindrance at their house bearing no.D-121,Phase-IV,Aya Nagar, South Delhi,Delhi-110047. 2.

Petitioner nos. 1 and 2 are present in Court and have been identified by the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the Investigating Officer (IO). 3.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that Petitioner no. 1 and Petitioner no. 2 have solemnized their marriage on 23.05.2024 and are now The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Learned ASC states that initially when Petitioner no. 1 eloped with Petitioner no. 2; thus, Respondent no. 4 had filed a missing person report at PS Ranjeet Nagar and an IO from P.S. Ranjeet Nagar is present in the Court. 5.

He states that, however, after Petitioner nos. 1 and 2 had apprised the SHO about the solemnization of marriage as per Christian rites along with the statement of Petitioner No.2's statement that she is living with Petitioner no.1 out of her own free will, and upon verifying from the school authorities of Petitioner no. 2 that she is a major, the missing person report has been closed.

Learned ASC states that Petitioner no. 1 and Petitioner no. 2 are residing within the jurisdiction of P.S. Fatehpur Beri. He is directed to ensure that the phone number of the SHO, P.S. Fatehpur Beri and the beat constable is provided to Petitioner Nos. 1 and 2 and they are responsive to any distress calls made by the Petitioners to them. 7.

This Court has interacted in vernacular with Respondent no. 4 and 5. They state that initially they had filed a missing person report since they were concerned about the Petitioner no. 2. However, now they have no grievances with Petitioner no. 1 and Petitioner no. 2. 8.

Respondent no. 4 submits that now she is aware that Petitioner nos. 1 and 2 are married she would like to welcome them and conduct their wedding ceremony as per traditions in the presence of family and friends. 9.

This Court has been informed that Petitioner no. 1 and Petitioner no. 2 have not met Respondent no. 4 in the past one (1) year due to pendency of this petition. Therefore, to enable Petitioner no.1 and Petitioner no. 2 and Respondent no. 4 to initiate communication and to re-establish social ties, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

the matter is referred to Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre for holding one single meeting on 03.03.2025 at 04:00 PM under the aegis of Ms. Veena Ralli, senior Mediator so as to enable the parties to initiate communication.

Copy of the Order be sent to the Organizing Secretary of the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre for information and compliance.

The IO is directed to remain present at the meeting so that the meeting remains orderly and frankly.

There is no further reference to be made back to this Court by the Mediation Center.

With the aforesaid directions, the present petition alongwith pending applications stands disposed of.
