The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to demolish unauthorized construction being carried out at property bearing Building No.620, Shamsul Road, Jaitpur Extension Part-II, Badarpur, New Delhi-110044 ('subject property'). 2.
The petitioner claims to be the owner of the adjacent property bearing no.H-621, Part of Khasra No.850, Jaitpur Extension Part-II, Badarpur, New Delhi-110044, even though the address of the petitioner in the memo of parties as well as Aadhar Card is of a different area. 3.

In any event, it is submitted by the counsel for respondent-MCD that a show-cause notice dated 15th January, 2026 has been issued in respect of unauthorized construction from basement to the second floor of the subject property. Thereafter, a demolition order was issued on 2nd February, 2026 and demolition action has been taken on 12th March, 2026 and 9th April, 2026. Subsequently, another show-cause notice was issued on 15th May, 2026 with regard to unauthorized construction on third floor of the subject property. The owner/occupier has been called for a personal hearing on 26th May, 2026.

In view thereof, the present writ petition stands disposed of while directing the respondent-MCD to take action in accordance with law. 6.
All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the private respondents no.6 and 7 are kept open.
