% 06.01.2020 CM APPL. 98/2020 By this application the respondent seeks a correction in the order dated 25.11.2019. It is pleaded that this court had directed the respondent to pay interest on the amount deposited @ 8% Simple Interest w.e.f. the date of deposit till 5.8.2019 i.e. date the date on which respondents had offered to return the sum of Rs.8 lacs to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner pleads that the date 5.8.2019 should actually read as 14.5.2019. For the said purpose she relies upon a communication which is attached as Annexure B to the application which is signed by the petitioner on 14.5.2019.

Issue notice to the petitioner through counsel returnable on 27.4.2020. In the meantime the respondent will comply with the order dated 25.11.2019 to the extent that interest is payable by the respondent upto 14.5.2019.
