% 24.04.2025 CM APPL. 23858/2025 (Exemption) Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. The application stands disposed of.

W.P.(C) 5250/2025 1.

The petitioner claims to be the owner of 1 Bigha land in Khasra No. 760, Village Gadaipur, Tehsil Mehrauli, New Delhi. He has made applications for demarcation of his land, including a representation dated 19.02.2025 addressed to the Tehsildar, Mehrauli, and a representation dated 03.03.2025 addressed to the Vice-Chairman, Delhi Development Authority ["DDA"].

2.

Mr. Jatin Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that he will be satisfied with a direction upon respondents to consider his W.P.(C) 5250/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. representations and take necessary steps thereafter. 3.

The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi ["GNCTD"] and DDA are both represented by their respective counsel. There appears to be a lack of clarity as to which authority is required to undertake the process of demarcation.

4.

In my view, this issue is required to be resolved by the statutory authorities, but the petitioner's application ought not to be kept pending indefinitely. The concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate ["SDM"], GNCTD, and the concerned officer of DDA are directed to coordinate and take a reasoned decision on the petitioner's representations within eight weeks from today. Any further action of demarcation, if required, be taken expeditiously and, preferably within three months thereafter. 5.

The writ petition is disposed of with these directions.
