By way of the present petition filed under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioner seeks extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of six months for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 23.04.2024.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent Nos. 4, 5, 6 and 7 are in fact the claimant before the learned Arbitrator. Issue notice.

Learned counsel for the respondent Nos.1 and 2 accepts notice and submits that the respondents have no objection to the prayer made in the petition.

The parties have invited the attention of the court to the order dated 10.04.2024 passed by the learned Arbitrator whereby the parties had agreed to the extension of mandate.

Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed, and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of six months from today. Further, the period lapsed from 23.04.2024 till date is regularised. 8.

The present petition stands disposed of.
