At the very outset, Mr. R.C.S. Bhadoria, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is a significant development as the matter has been amicably settled and, in terms of the settlement, the complaint in question has already been withdrawn.

The petitioner herein was summoned for commission of offences under Section 499 read with Section 500 IPC.

Fact, however, remains that in view of the abovesaid development, the present petition has, virtually, become infructuous and stands disposed of accordingly.
