O R D E R

% 28.08.2020 (hearing through Video Conferencing) Pursuant to order dated 26.08.2020, the status report has been submitted by the State. It has been submitted on behalf of the State that there has been a compliance of directions dated 26.08.2020 by the applicant.

On behalf of the applicant, it had been submitted that he has been falsely implicated in the instant case; that he has no role whatsoever to play and that he had gone to the place of the occurrence only because he was an employee of Larsen & Toubro Limited and had gone to the construction site. It is sought to be submitted on behalf of the applicant that the construction site is situated near the place of the occurrence itself which aspect is refuted on behalf of the State.

The Investigating Officer who is present through Video Conferencing informs that the DMRC site is different from the Signature Not Verified construction site at which the applicant was deputed on duty. Though, it is sought to be submitted on behalf of the applicant that the other co-accused in the instant case have already been granted bail, in as much as, the applicant is alleged to have fired at the spot of the occurrence and is stated to have assaulted the officials of the metro, there is no ground whatsoever for the grant of anticipatory bail. The application is thus, rejected.
