O R D E R

% 15.05.2019 The present petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following prayers:

"It is therefore, most respectfully prayed before this Hon'ble Court, that in view o the abovementioend facts and circumstances of the present matter, this Hon'ble court may be pleased to: (a) Admit the present petition and to issue its notice to the respondents;

(b) Issue a writ of mandamus in nature against the respondents and in favour of petitioners, thereby to issue specific directions to respondents to change their Rs.76,500/- (of petitioner no.1=51,000/- & of petitioner no.2 = 25,500/-) into the new currency notes, within the time bound period. &/Or (c) Pass any other further order(s)/relief(s)/direction(s) like as to payment of compensation and for the wrongful loss, harassment, pain and agony both physical and mental and damages caused to petitioners at the end of said illegal acts and omissions of respondents, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in view of the abovementioned facts and circumstances of the present matte,r so as to be the same in the interest of the justice as well as in the interest of the petitioner. "

Mr. Parihar, learned counsel appearing for the Reserve Bank of India states that in view of the orders passed by the Supreme Court in Writ Peittion

(C) No.906/2016, Vivek Narayan Sharma vs. Union of India dated 16th December, 2016 and Writ Peittion (C) No.124/2017, Sudha Mishra vs. Union of India dated 3rd November, 2017 it would be appropriate for the petitioners to approach the Supreme Court.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks to withdraw the petition to approach the Supreme Court.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
