1. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the benefits of the 2nd and 3rd MACP were earlier not granted to the petitioner as he was facing criminal prosecution. He submits that now that the petitioner stands acquitted, orders to grant him the said benefits have already been issued on 27.10.2023 and 19.01.2024 in his favour. He further assures the Court that the arrears in terms of these two orders will be worked out and paid to the petitioner within a period of six weeks.

2. In view of this stand taken by the respondents, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present petition, which is, accordingly, disposed of by taking on record the statement made on behalf of the respondent.
